Les invita a participar en un Diálogo Comunitario sobre el Mal de Alzheimer Conozca otros cuidadores, comparta sus ideas para ayudar a otras personas que cuidan a alguien con Alzheimer y reciba un incentivo por su participación. Se proveerán refrigerios y “tokens” para transportación.

The Penn Projects in Narrative Medicine Event will present a visual and storytelling journey in modern medicine. Topics and speakers include:


What is Narrative Medicine?

  • Dr. Jason Karlawish: Professor of Medicine, Medical Ethics and Health Policy, and author of "Open Wound: The Tragic Obsession of Dr. William Beaumont."
  • Dr. Zachary Meisel: Attending Physician and Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, University of Pennsylvania; Senior Scholar, Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics; Medical Editor, The Health Economist; author, Medical Insider column, Time.com; and contributor, Slate.com.

ICU Family Shrines: A Photographic Representation

Narrative Art in Surgical Education
